The original Stockmaster, the $ULTRONICS token, and the terminal rules.
What was the Ultronics Stockmaster?+
The Stockmaster was a pioneering electronic financial price-retrieval terminal. Reuters partnered with Ultronic Systems in 1964, helping bring market quotations to dealing rooms worldwide.
How did the original terminal work?+
Dealers entered a four-letter stock code using mechanical keys. Bright red-orange Nixie numerals displayed requested prices, replacing the wait for mechanical ticker tape. Reuters marketed the service outside North America.
When was Stockmaster retired?+
Reuters Monitor began replacing Stockmaster around 1972; Stockmaster was obsolete by early 1975. The casing editions in this collection are artistic interpretations, not separate historical models.
What is a terminal?+
Every whole liquid $ULTRONICS in your wallet backs one dark terminal — a collectible edition inspired by the Ultronics Stockmaster, illustrated as NFT artwork.
What does hardwiring do?+
It burns the token backing a dark terminal. The terminal becomes permanent, its screen lights up, and it starts earning reflections. It cannot be undone.
Can I pick which terminal I get?+
No. Terminals are assigned randomly when your balance crosses a whole unit. Dark terminals can be rerolled for a new random ID.
Where do rewards come from?+
NFT mint fees and ULTRONICS trading fees on Pons. They fund the NFT reward pool, buyback and burn of ULTRONICS, floor NFT buyback and burn, and the Reserves Pool.
What happens when I sell?+
Dark terminals dissolve newest-first as your balance crosses down through whole units. Hardwired terminals are untouchable by token movement.
Are rewards dividends?+
No. Distributions to hardwired terminals are promotional rewards, not dividends or investment income.
